Hakuba Mominoki Hotel 
 
A 4-star resort at the base of Happoone Mountain in Wadano's vast forest. It features Japan's second highest-ranked alkaline onsen, "Shobei no Yu," also known as the "Beauty Bath." The main restaurant, "Shara," offers an extensive buffet with locally sourced ingredients and live 'Teppanyaki' cooking. The hotel has been featured in the Tokyo TV program "The Dawn of Galliard" and has won awards from Luxury Travel Guide. The hotel has 75 rooms, including suites and Western-Japanese style rooms, a visitor center, and four restaurant bars (three open in winter). It also provides a heliport with helicopter pick-up from Haneda Airport. Renovations in 2015 included the onsen, restaurant, lounge, and new Simmons mattresses for all rooms.
