The hotel offers easy access to close by ski slopes, positioned approximately three minutes' walk to the Yu Road (moving walkway to the ski slopes) and seven minutes' walk to the Nagasaka gondola. The Nozawa Onsen Hotel is also a great place to be located with regards to après ski, a number of restaurants and bars are reachable by foot, and if you don't feel like leaving the hotel on any given evening, enjoy the home-style Japanese cooking offered at the in-house restaurant.

The hotel has a selection of rooms available; the most common are the western style room with ensuite bathroom and the Japanese style room with private toilet and vanity. Some rooms even have a private onsen but these are incredibly popular and hard to secure!

The fantastic indoor and outdoor natural hot springs are very popular with guests, most people will enjoy a nightly soak in the communal bath, and some also opt for a quick dip in the morning. If you are hesitant to try the in-house shared onsen, why not try the foot hotpsring bath called "Ashiyu," located right in front of the hotel for free of charge. You can just take your shoes/boots and socks off and soak your tired feet into the mineralized water.
