Breckenridge is an historic mining town with friendly locals and some of the best skiing in Colorado. It’s pretty easy to see why people visit Breckenridge once and never leave.
Arriving in Breckenridge is like taking a step back in time, you’ll find an authentic town with a rich mining history. Main Street is lined with buildings that have stood the test of time with many being over 100 years old, in the same area you’ll find a thriving bar & restaurant scene ranging from affordable pub style to fine dining options
The mountain is divided into five peaks with terrain to suit all abilities, great if you’re travelling in a group with varying abilities or as a family. Breckenridge is also renowned for its impressive terrain parks making it a mecca for freestyle junkies.
Breckenridge is part of the Epic Pass and acts as a good base for a multi-resort holiday, you can ski Vail, Beaver Creek and Keystone on the same pass.

How to get there
Fly
Breckenridge can be accessed by Denver Airport (DIA). When flying from Australia at least one stopover is required, the most popular stopover destinations are Los Angeles, San Francisco and Dallas (13-15 hour flight from Australia) and then on to Denver Airport, a 2 hour flight. All three make a great city escape pre or post your ski holiday.
