NISEKO
About Niseko
Niseko is Japan’s best known resort and for good reason! Located on the south west side of the island of Hokkaido, Niseko is famed for having some of the best powder conditions to be found anywhere – this is one for the powder hounds!
Niseko is the largest of Hokkaido’s ski areas with 4 inter-linked first class resorts – Annupuri, Niseko Village, Grand Hirafu and Hanazono. As well as the powder runs and tree skiing, Niseko has a great learner’s area with English speaking instructors and a family friendly Kids Snow Park. One of the highlights is night skiing, with lifts open daily from 8.30am to 8.30pm. A powder night session is a must!
The village is vibrant, with a number of international cuisine options, amazing nightlife and ski-in/ski-out accommodation that caters to all budgets.
Accommodation
Our accommodation options are located in Hirafu and Niseko Village, which are 15 minutes apart. Hirafu is the most central of the two, if you want to be close to the bars, restaurants and shops this is the place to be. Niseko Village is a little quieter; all hotels will provide a free shuttle service to get you to and from Hirafu.
Both of these areas offer easy lift access, western style rooms and English-speaking staff. There are a huge range of options, from self-catering studios, ski-in/ski-out hotels to luxury townhouses.
Accommodation for peak season (Christmas, January and Chinese New Year) books out far in advance, we’d recommend booking in accommodation 6 months prior to travel
