VAL THORENS

About Val Thorens

At 2,300m, Val Thorens is the highest ski resort in Europe which means that doorstep skiing and snowboarding is guaranteed and the snow cover is typically good from November through to May, one of the longest seasons in Europe.

When you arrive you'll find 100 percent ski-in ski-out accommodation with unbeatable skiing: powdery fields, perfectly groomed slopes – 600km of runs and snow guaranteed right through the season. The ski facilities are cutting-edge, with high-tech ski lifts that take you right up to the highest peaks with views over more than 1,000 mountaintops.

The car-free village provides a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with a wide range of bars, restaurants, clubs and other activities. We love the on-mountain bar La Folie Douce for an unbeatable après ski party.

Known for:

  • Highest resort in Europe
  • Après ski
  • Ski-in/ski-out village
